Goodbye...

In about 21 hours I will be losing  a very good boss and friend to another college.  Yes another PVC employee jumps ship.  I am not saying it's not a better move for her, but I am saying she will be missed around PVC's campus.

Having worked with her for about 4 years and worked for her for the last 2 have been a great experience.  She never backs down from a challenge and she always knows how to squeeze the most out of my creativity to make a project that much better.

I have learned a lot from her over the years and hope to still collaborate with her on many district wide projects!  Remember ONE Maricopa!  We had many plans and ideas to take Instructional Technology to a new level on our campus, I am just sad that we ran out of time or never got the resources to start.

Jen, I might not be next door anymore, or there to say "good night, see  ya tomorrow!"  but we shall collaborate, create, and continue to learn virtually.

Take care friend,

Sam

You have been a real joy to work with on our many cross collaborative works. I've so enjoyed your sense of humor and your talents over the last almost 4 years. What a hoot we've had and I'll miss your day-to-day interactions more than I'll write.

Good luck to you and while it's not goodbye, it is good luck.

Keep Pevine in mindful chat space.

Jen, Jim Patterson here.... you are always gonna be one of "my people" you know, I don't care if you are going to Mesa. I am going to see you around the district I know. And for the Relay for Life again, but dang. We are going to have a huge hole.

I am going to do that trip to Korea again in March, this time taking students and some faculty. I will think of you while there, like I did in my first trip.

You did great work here and you will for Mesa, too, although I don't think they deserve you. haha.

Best of luck...

Your Friend,

Jim Patterson

Jen - Thank you for all of your contributions to PVCC and to those of us who have had the good fortune of working closely with you. Your feistiness will be missed at our LT meetings. :) (How will I keep everyone engaged without it?) Maybe we will have to conference you in as a guest speaker. I'll try to tweet, ichat, and blog more so you won't forget about your former supervisor with the lousy negotiating skills. :(

Best of luck at MCC! I can't wait to read about the great things you will do there.

You were a good neighbor and a good boss for awhile. We will all miss you here. I'll see you on Twitter and around the district. Thank you for all you have done for me, believe me it does not go unappreciated. Good luck with your future endeavors and I wish you the best.

Boo hoo, boo hoo, boo hoo... I am still in mourning over Jen moving to MCC. I will miss her deeply..oh, the pain of change. I thank Jen so much for her wonderful colleagial support and for being being so encouraging and fun (thanks for all of the creative ideas, for the hands on tech training, and for all of the laughs). I wish Jen all the best! Marilyn Cristiano

As long as you're on Twitter or 2nd Life, I'll know where to find you. Let's keep discovering ways to be/do more together than we could ever be/do by ourselves.

From one improper Bostonian to another, have a "wicked awesome" time at MCC.

Jen, congratulations and best wishes on your new transition. This is a huge loss for PV. Your ability to communicate with such a diverse group of people with vastly different agendas, and still do the stellar work you do is amazing. You are my hero! I will miss our collaborations, your wit and frankness, a gifted humanistic tech-woman! You are seriously the best. Best wishes for your future! Jim
